AiDateWise ("we", "us") operates aidatewise.love, an AI tool that scores and rewrites dating profile bios. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the service, we never sell your data, and you can delete everything at any time.

1. What we collect

• Account data — your email address and a securely hashed password (PBKDF2-SHA256; we never store plaintext passwords).
• Content you submit — the bios you paste into the analyzer and the reports we generate from them (scores, dimension breakdowns, rewrites), stored so you can revisit your report history.
• Usage data — daily analysis counts (to enforce quotas) and pass expiry dates.
• Payment data — payments are processed by our merchant of record. We never see or store your card number; we only receive your checkout email, the plan you bought, and the order reference.

2. How we use it

• To provide the service: authenticate you, run analyses, enforce daily quotas, and activate passes.
• To send transactional emails only: verification codes, password resets, and payment-related support. No marketing emails without your consent.
• Bios you submit are sent to our AI provider (a large-language-model API) solely to generate your report. We do not use your content to train models.

3. What we never do

• We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
• We never publish your bio or reports — they are visible only to you, behind your login.
• We never store your payment card details.

4. Cookies & storage

We use a single HttpOnly session cookie to keep you logged in (30-day expiry) and your browser's local storage for interface state. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Data retention & deletion

Your account and report history are kept while your account is active. You can request full deletion at any time by emailing [email protected] from your account email — we remove your account, reports, and personal data within 72 hours. Verification codes and quota counters expire automatically within 48 hours.

6. Third-party processors

• Cloudflare — hosting, storage, and edge delivery.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• AI model provider — generates scores and rewrites from the bio text you submit.
• Merchant of record — payment processing and tax compliance; acts as the seller of record for purchases.

Each processor handles data only as needed to provide its service to us.

7. Security

All traffic is encrypted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, session cookies are HttpOnly, and payment activation is verified server-side with signed webhooks. No system is perfectly secure, but we design for the minimum viable data footprint.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. Email [email protected] with the subject "Privacy request" and we will respond within 30 days.

9. Children

AiDateWise is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
